报告人简介：
Dr. Xiaobing Zhou is currently a full professor, Geological Engineering Department, Montana Technological University. His main research interests are in applied geophysics, satellite and unmanned aircraft system (UAV) remote sensing, advanced imaging technologies, and their applications in earth and environmental sciences, and natural resource exploration. He has 187 publications and presentations, including over 80 publications in peer-reviewed journals. He is an associate editor for Journal of Applied Remote Sensing. He received a PhD in geophysics with specialization in remote sensing from University of Alaska Fairbanks, MS in theoretical physics from Sichuan University; and BS in Physics from Hunan Normal University.
