报告人介绍:薛锦凯博士,本科毕业于同济大学土木工程专业,硕士就读于沙特阿拉伯阿卜杜拉国王科技大学环境工程专业,博士完成于加拿大阿尔伯塔大学。先后在美国明尼苏达大学双城分校和加拿大滑铁卢大学从事博士后研究工作。是加拿大自然科学与工程研究基金委员会NSERC博士后学者荣誉获得者。

 

报告内容:For this presentation, Dr. Xue will report his work on the application of MBRs for OSPW treatment and the interactions between bacterial cells and graphene oxide-functionalized surfaces. The former topic may be informative and helpful to those who are working on membrane bioreactors and/or the treatment of industrial wastewaters contaminated with highly complex, toxic and refractory organic contaminants. The latter would be interesting to researchers who are looking into the mechanisms of initial bacterial adhesion onto nanomaterial-functionalized surfaces.
